Essential Cookies

Required for the Service to function. These handle authentication (keeping you logged in) and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Functional (localStorage)

Stored in your browser's local storage — not cookies — to remember your preferences such as whether you have acknowledged instructions or accepted the cookie consent banner.

Analytics Note

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel). Our analytics are first-party and anonymized.

04

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the Service:

Supabase

Our primary backend provider. Your account data, quiz answers, results, and session data are stored in Supabase's PostgreSQL database and protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Supabase also handles authentication and secure session management. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy

OpenAI

Your quiz answers are sent to OpenAI to generate your personalized scouting report and fix plan. We send only the quiz data needed for analysis — no personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.) is sent to OpenAI. OpenAI does not use API-submitted data to train its models by default.

Privacy policy: openai.com/privacy

Mapbox

Used to generate location-based map images for our social proof display. Approximate geographic data (city/country level, never your precise address) may be processed by Mapbox.

Privacy policy: mapbox.com/legal/privacy

SendGrid

Your email address and quiz results are sent through SendGrid to deliver your scouting report to your inbox. SendGrid is a Twilio company and operates under industry-standard data protection practices.

Privacy policy: twilio.com/legal/privacy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

05

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS)
  • Database data is encrypted at rest via Supabase
  • Passwords are never stored in plaintext — only secure hashes
  • Row Level Security (RLS) ensures users can only access their own data
  • JWT-based authentication with secure session management
  • Admin access is gated by multi-layered role-based access control (RBAC)

While we take security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to improve our practices.

06

Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

  • Account data and quiz results: retained for as long as your account is active
  • After account deletion: personal data is removed within 30 days
  • Anonymized analytics data: may be retained indefinitely to improve the Service
  • Email communications: retained per SendGrid's data retention policies

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9). We will honor deletion requests subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.

07

Children's Privacy

The Service is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

Users between 13 and 17 may use the Service with parental consent. If you are under 18, we encourage you to review this policy with a parent or guardian.
